This collaborative work between Georgette Batlle, Gerard Marx and Joshua Neustein is considered the first environmental art project in Israel. The installation featured an imaginary river created using 55 loudspeakers, which stretched for two kilometers through the valley below St. Claire Monastery in Abu Tor. The loudspeakers played the sound of flowing water, creating an auditory illusion. This project pioneered environmental art in Israel, transforming a sensory experience into a conscious one and introducing a new concept of "landscape" to Israeli art.
